The path one walks is only shown by the myriad colors of potential and possibilities...

Rainbow Line

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet. That's the 7 colors of the rainbow. But Indigo and Violet being different colors is too much effort so we just use pink. Sometimes I add Cyan, but that's just because it's nice and vibrant on screen.

Rainbow Clones

The gray fowl had trained for more than a year and was now in danger. The gray fowl unleashed his ultimate secret attack. The six rainbow clones appeared as a shining circle around that brave hero.

Raining Joy

Of course the bad times eventually end and you're left refreshed with a shining rainbow in the sky.

Raining Joy isn't a great name, but I wanted to play off the last one and this definitely isn't a Joyful Sorrow. Maybe Rainbow Joy? I feel like that's too general.

Choose Happiness

Some people, when they're sad, choose to be engrossed in it and do somber and meaningful things.

Others choose to push away their sadness and lash out with anger. They express rage against the world

These methods are all well and good but I think it's best to reject it directly. When you're feeling bummed out just do something cheerful and see if that makes you feel better. Like 50:50 in my experience.

Vacant Look

I can't really say why this fellow has such a vacant look in the eyes. After all, the world is nothing but Sunshine and Rainbows. Sun's even got a smiley face. If you find this piece troubling please consult this one instead

Leave Blue

Okay, the third Blue Period of Chicken Maker is now concluded with this piece, a  magnificent leap from the monotonous blue to colors. You may note that the colors are in the reverse of their normal order. This was done to avoid the colors overlapping, as in the initial draft both the comb and beak vanished all together within the rainbow. After a consideration of alternate shades it was decided that using the standard shades was more important than the normal "Rainbow" color order.

Time-dorable

Time travel is only possible when you follow the rainbow into the computer future, but it helps if you're cute.

Passionate Colors

Those sparking eyes show that the chicken still believes there is a path forward.

Bold View

Previously I showed you a dull view. Not I will show you a bold one. I used stronger sharper lines in the chicken. I liberally applied detail to the grass. I needed to spice up the sky so I added in a rainbow. I think we can agree that's a better tree. And it's in strong bright colors so as not be be as boring as the previous picture.

Also that was post 1100, this is 1111. I think they make a nice contrast.

Yet Another Rainbow

I have yet again gone to a set of chickens with each shown under a different hue along the color spectrum. It's fairly simple and it has a nice effect.

This is Yet Another Rainbow.

Cool Rainbow

The background has a cascading rainbow effect. I use those pretty often to be honest. Anyways this one is all cool colors. That's why it's all blue and green and purple. A calming piece, so you should enjoy it.

Witch Chicken Mayu

This piece was specially produced for a friend from Japan called Mayu. Or rather I was informed that I would be drawing "Witch Chicken Mayu" as a joke and then did it anyways because that's simply how I've generally worked isn't it? So, Started with Witch, which is pretty clear with the hat and broom, chicken slid in with the... chicken. She's a cheery girl so I tossed in a rainbow and I looked up Japanese onomatopoeia, and that is one. It is apparently pronounced "koke-kokko" according to the article.

Chicken-Rabbit

A chicken-rabbit just seems like a good choice for Easter. I even gave it a nice pink pastel color. I considered something with peeps but... Well, Happy Easter.

Someone asked "Why are the goggles on those things always green?" Since it was asked I have to answer... The Space Helmet comes in a variety of colors

Cute on Rainbow

This is a "rounder and cuter" chicken on a rainbow background. Unlike my usual opinion I split purple. I know I usually use Red-Orange-Yellow-Green-Cyan-Blue-Purple instead of the usual ROYGBIV, but that's how I was feeling today.

Rainbows and Sunshine

For some inexplicable reason I don't feel fantastic... And there's only one way to fix that. Rainbows and Sunshine. It's all you need. This is what makes you feel fantastic. That sun has got some cool shades.

Rainbow Force

This is my new background. I haven't done any rainbow things in a while.Probably should have added some sort of side by side looping in addition to the top-down one.

Also Windows 7 for some strange reason insists on doing JPEG compression for the wallpapers, whereas Vista required BMP which was stupid for a different reason. I'm going to see if there's some way around that.

EDIT: Okay, so I save it as a .BMP then rename it to .JPG and for some inexplicable it works like that. Firefox will apparently also do it with no issue.

Cute!

Like I said. I wanted the next picture to be happy, but for some reason my attempts to draw happy turned into scrawling images that make no sense. So here's a cute guy jumping in front of a rainbow. Pretty much as generically happy as you can get I'd say. Well, without involving princesses and small children and what have you.
