I didn't post this back in April, but let's go ahead and fix that before the end of the year. Honestly the muted pastels might actually suit winter better than spring. This is a fairly basic piece with a different palette and a more chunky angular background. The drop shadows give it a 'fake' look, like backdrops on a stage.

I went with a more flat minimalist style this year. The Christmas Fowl has been getting too elaborate.
And with this last chicken we close out this Christmas in the most traditional of manners again. Celebrate with me as the christmas fowl soars through dusk on his golden star, leaving behind the green of spring.
Since last month I was dealing with some personal issues this got delayed until so far into December. Still, at least I got it up before Christmas (barely)
Usually with the grayscale I try to sneak in a bit of color, maybe a blue-ish tone or two, but for this we're going with the true monochrome. Enjoy the strong angular trees.
