Chicken dressed as a chicken. It was a suggestion from one of my coworkers. I assumed I'd done it, but I only had a turkey dressed as a chicken when I looked.
Candlelit Coven
The witches gathered around the coven's leader. She was small, but absurd rumors that she was "a chicken," "some giant bird" and "a witch" were obviously complete nonsense. Just because the coven's leader was a bit on the short side was no reason to make up that sort of thing.
I forgot I was doing these all on the same canvas size, so here's a the original version I made, before I redrew parts of it to the different dimensions.
Bewitched Bog
I mean chicken. A rather bewitching chicken. That doesn't rhyme with bog at all though.
Fiendish Familiar
The Fiendish Familiar appeared to be a simple chicken, but it's true form was revealed in the reflection. From the corner of the witch's eye she saw the eldritch abominations, writhing in the empty air.
Spellbook Apprentice
Accidentally opening the spellbook after wandering into the witch's house. The book took a liking and filled the bird with forbidden knowledge. The meager fowl was entranced by the vast swell of information as the pages span around it like a whirlwind.
But most importantly the chicken gained the tiny hat the witch had on hand for her cat.
Midnight Delivery
The second theme for Drawtober is "Midnight Delivery" so we're going with a witch chicken flying in the night time sky. Bwak bwak bwaak!
Bird Sketch
I kind of like the sketchy outlines, but making them consistent and rough is a careful balance.
Garden of Magic
The theme is a garden of magick, but I might have ended up more alien world with my choice of less saturated cool colors. Flowers, mushrooms and blue chickens is definitely magic though.
This year we're participating in Drawtober, because it isn't daily like most of these October art events.
AI Generated Post
The following was a drawing and ramble generated using the Craiyon Image AI and NovelAI. This rant is full of inspiration and questions.
