When I think back I can never forget that smile...
It scares me and I think I truly hate it, but I feel like I'm really breaking out of the Chicken Maker mold with this. Maybe I needed this slow month of posts.

lol love it
ReplyDeleteI think I understand your feeling, I having been happy teaching exercise in a banana costume, then I started getting the urge to branch out into teaching math in an apple costume and it's a very uncomfortable feeling, kind of like being mildly drunk or mildly seasick or in line for a roller coaster that seems unsafe even though the people before you were okay. I'm kind of new to your site, but find your work very inspiring, can I ask your name so that when I refer to you in articles it would be as your name rather than as MS Paint Chicken Maker? 📛
ReplyDeleteThis message is strange, so I assumed you were a bot, but I think you're a real person. My name is Jonathan.
DeleteI am a real person thank you, you've inspired me to start drawing again, so thus I was writing about it and I'm transitioning between new projects that were reminiscent of the "That Smile" chicken. Anyways, thanks for all the chickens I find them very inspiring. 🐔
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it. Let me know when you have something new. I'd love to take a look.
DeleteIt's called “Sketch for the Art Cafe” about half way down this article: https://bubblegummonkey.com/2020/10/03/%f0%9f%8e%a8-world-of-artcraft-%f0%9f%96%8c%ef%b8%8f/ It's pretty rough, but it's supposed to be a chicken shaped art cafe, behind what appears to be a barb-wired fence (but actually isn't), I hope to improve upon my current skills over time... 👷♀️
