June 2020 Wallpaper – Lies

Lies are a form of not truth, but unlike other sorts of not truth, like nonsense, they're supposed to appear to be the truth. I'm not really any more sure where I'm going with that thought any more than I am what the theme of this month's wallpaper is. I think it is sufficiently aesthetic to ignore that sort of issue though.

Real Tough Guy

 He's a real tough bird, raised on the streets eating scraps and fighting cats. Living life to the fullest because it could end any time. He has a chance to start a new life, but are you really even living a life when you don't even have a leather jacket?

High tech VR headsets let you live in a wondrous fantasy land while wearing nothing but a towel and and ugly expensive headset. And really even those are optional if you want to try imagination.

Small Fry

This Small Fry doesn't know what you think you're looking at, but it's definitely glaring right at you. It would probably be good to run away, but do you even need to.

Unrelated, but Blogger has a new backend and I haven't quite got it down yet.

This is a thoroughly enraged barbarian. You can tell from how pointy the fleshy bit around his eyes are. If there are any questions feel free to ask but it's really very self explanatory.

May 2020 Wallpaper – Break

A striking pose on top of a fractured sky. This is more energetic than the usual poses. I meant these vague jagged lines to be placeholders, but they grew on me so I decided to keep them.

Logo Concept Scrap

I made the current Chicken Maker logo and swoosh in 2012 so making a new one of probably overdue. I don't really know what I want to do so I just scribbled a few things. I like the shape of the blue one best, which is why I marked it in blue.

This humble country fowl wanders the field with only his trustworthy hat by his side.

Make sure you read that with a gravelly southern accent.

Look Back

Let us look back on the past. This site has stood tall and surprisingly consistent as most (all?) of the blogs I interacted with when I was starting out have faded away. Many of them are deleted and a mere handful have sporadic activity if anything at all.

At the very least, I promise you all... when I eventually move on from this site it'll go out with a big flashy finale. Or actually I think I said it would be an April Fool's post before. Be concerned if I put in too much effort on an April Fool's post about closing the site!
