We're Three Years Old

Good news everyone. This site is now three years old. By internet standards I'm pretty sure that means we are well established and long lived. Let's continue to do this. And as with every year this anniversary lines up with St. Patrick's day. So, for this, the third year I decided to choose three of my favorites to green up. Also due to my personal failure this is post number 699 so expect something nice next post.

Nu Banner

I designed a new banner. I rather like it so I decided to post it but I'm not certain if I'll use it. Need to finish the new page buttons before anything happens so we'll see. Anyone have any comments or opinions on this piece? I'd be glad to get some feedback before anything is finalized.

Happy Holi

Today is apparently Holi. It's a day about loosening social customs and throwing colorful perfumes and powders at people. Or something like that. I only glanced a Wikipedia article before scribbling this up. Anyways it's to celebrate the coming of Spring.

An orange chicken, because I was still playing with using just one color for a bit. I think it looks pretty good, though the eye is notably larger than it appears in many of my pieces.
